The website ClementeCar.com came into being to help tell the story of the 1972 Dodge Charger SE that was awarded to Roberto Clemente of the Pittsburgh Pirates for winning most-valuable player honors in the 1971 World Series. The Pirates, led by the stellar exploits of Clemente, won that series in seven games over the Baltimore Orioles.

 

Randy Dye of Deland, FL , now owns the fully-restored car and hopes to use it to raise funds for childrens charities throughout the country. This website will feature a schedule of upcoming appearances of the car, updates on the car itself, and a variety of other topics. Check back soon for more.
